According to the article, the grasshopper density has reached as high as 2000 hoppers/ft^2. They say up to 250,000 acres have been hit. Can we do the math? ... Yes we can: 2000 hoppers/ft ^2 * 43560 ft^2/acre * 250000 acres equals HOLY SHIT THAT'S A LOT OF GRASSHOPPERS!!!!
